Miranda Lucius and Bruce Gradkowski exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at Corpus Christi University Parish, Toledo. The Rev. Jim Bacik was the officiant during the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at Hilton Garden Inn, Levis Commons, Perrysburg.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Theresa Lucius of Tiffin. The groom is the son of Bruce Sr. and Deb Gradkowski of Pittsburgh.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a floor-length gown of ivory demir stretch satin by Sottero and Midgely featuring a sweetheart neckline. Ruching enveloped the bodice and asymmetrically plummeted below the empire waistline beaded with crystals, while the train poured into a chapel-length balloon hem. She wore a hairpiece of Swarovski crystals and feathers to accent her waist-length veil trimmed with crystals. She carried a colonial-style bouquet of sweetness roses, crystal blush mini calla lilies and green mini cymbiduum orchids.

Jennifer Lucius of Tiffin was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Brittney Kuhn of Pittsburgh and Deanna Gradkowski of Columbus, sisters of the groom; Shilo Clouse of Findlay, cousin of the bride; and Carime Reinhart of Crofton, Md., Nora Stocum of Pittsburgh, Ashley Vay of Oregon, Ohio, and Ashley Miller of Seattle, Wash., all friends of the bride.
The bridesmaids wore floor-length raspberry, strapless gowns with asymmetrical ruching and a sweetheart neckline by Jim Hjelm. They carried colonial-style bouquets of garnet glow mini calla lilies, bright pink spray roses, green roses and soft pink roses.
Gino Gradkowski served as his brother's best man. Groomsmen included Dan Kuhn of Pittsburgh, brother-in-law of the groom; Dustin Lucius of Tiffin, brother of the bride; and Ralph DelSardo of Ebensburg, Pa., Shane Scanlon of Connecticut, Joe DelSardo, Carmen Connolly and TJ Connolly, all of Pittsburgh and all cousins of the groom.
The bride, a 2004 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School, graduated in 2008 from The University of Toledo. She is a registered nurse.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Seton LaSalle High School, Pittsburgh, Pa., and graduated from The University of Toledo in 2005. He is employed as a quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Honoring the bride with miscellaneous showers in March were her mother, Theresa Lucius, and sister, Jennifer. Also, the groom's mother, Deb Gradkowski, and his two sisters, Brittney and Deanna, honored her with a shower in Pittsburgh.
A rehearsal dinner was at Biaggi's, Levis Commons, with many of the couple's close family and friends in attendance.
Following a honeymoon to Greece and the Greek Islands, the couple resides in Cincinnati.
