Richard Cletus and Martha Gase were married Nov. 10, 1951 and are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 13, 2011, with a 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and a reception 2-4 p.m. at Knights of Columbus, Tiffin.
Richard is the son of the late Irene (Boes) and Cletus J. Gase. He is retired as a carpenter and as plant manager of Heidelberg College.
Martha is the daughter of the late Rose (Lehner) and Charles J. Zimmer. She also is retired.

They are parents of nine children, Charles (Lynn) Gase of Sidney, Janet (Bryon) Eshelman of New Knoxville, Connie (Bill) Speros of Cleveland, Laura (Paul) Monachino of Perrysburg, Peter (Tiffany) Gase of Royal Oak, Mich., and John (Catherine) Gase, Andrew (Anne) Gase, Philip (Roz) Gase and Julie (Vincent) Arnold, all of Tiffin. They also have 25 grandchildren, one of whom is deceased, and four great-granddaughters.
