The Advertiser-Tribune

COLUMBUS - Individuals seeking information about the upcoming youth gun and white-tailed deer hunting seasons, or people who want to report violations of state wildlife laws, can take advantage of extended call center hours Saturday through Dec. 4, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife.

The (800) WILDLIFE general hunting information hotline is to be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for the ninth annual youth deer-gun season.

Staff also will be available to answer calls before and during the regular deer-gun season, which begins Nov. 28 and ends Dec. 4.

Call center hours before and during the state's popular deer-gun season are 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 25-Dec. 4 and Dec. 17-18.
