Laura Flechtner and Ryan Montgomery were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 2, 2011, at Taylor Mansion, Columbus. Marge Butler was officiant during the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at the mansion.

Laura is the daughter of Frederick and Jane Flechtner of Tiffin.

Ryan is the son of Tawnya and Lee Bowling of Portsmouth.

Laura, given in marriage by her father, wore a Nicole Miller A-line, strapless sweetheart neckline gown. The silk metal taffeta floor-length gown was an antique white color. She carried a bouquet of wildflowers.

Lindsay Flechtner of Denver was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brandy Walker of Columbus, friend of the bride, and Mindy Lucius of Valley City, cousin of the bride. They wore short satin lapis-colored dresses in the style of their choice. They also carried bouquets of wildflowers.

Thomas Barb of Cincinnati was his friend's best man. Groomsmen were Jason Montgomery of Columbus and Marc Montgomery of Portsmouth, brothers of the groom.

Ring bearer was Dakota Montgomery, son of the groom.

Laura is a 1997 graduate of Calvert High School and a 2001 graduate of Capital University.

Ryan is a 1993 graduate of Portsmouth East High School.

The rehearsal dinner took place at Barley's Brewing Co.

The couple resides in Columbus.
