Judith Ryder and David Ryder of Tiffin announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Sabra Ryder, to Brendan Patrick Bittner.
Katherine is a 2006 graduate of Columbian High School and a 2010 graduate of Ashland University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and creative writing. She is managing editor of Spectrum Publications at The Daily Record, Wooster.
Brendan is the son of Mary Susan Bittner, Robert Allan and Mary Ann Bittner, all of Madison. He is a 2005 graduate of Madison High School and 2009 graduate of Ashland University with a bachelor's degree in sport communication and journalism. He is assistant sports information director at Ashland University and is pursuing a master's degree in sports management.
