ATTICA - Each year the second Sunday in December is recognized as National Children's Memorial Day, which people around the world observe with ceremonies and activities in remembrance of deceased children, teenagers and young adults.
A service is set for 7 p.m. Sunday at Union Pisgah United Methodist Church, CR 35, Attica.
Registration of children's names begins at 6:30 p.m. Participants are asked to bring an item to display on the memorial table.
