Christine Marie Kuzma and Ryan Henry Brookes were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 3, 2011, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom. Deacon George Miller was officiant during the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Ballroom, Bascom.
Christine is the daughter of George and Angela Kuzma of Fostoria.
Ryan is the son of Hank and Linda Brookes of Tiffin.

Christine, given in marriage by her father, wore a white duchess satin, mermaid-style gown with a lace-up back and box-pleated, chapel-length train. The bodice featured a sweetheart neckline and was embellished with silver embroidery, clear and silver bugle beads, pearls and sequins. She wore a crystal and rhinestone comb and carried a bouquet of 18 red roses.
Andrea Kuzma of Fostoria was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Craun of Bettsville, friend of the bride, Debbie Braciak of Tiffin, aunt of the bride, and Rachael Carrel and Kari Clagg of Fostoria, friends of the bride. They wore satin, floor-length charcoal dresses of their choice and carried bouquets of red roses.
Mike Tusing of Perrysburg was his friend's best man. Groomsmen were Brock Cleveland of Tiffin, cousin of the groom, and Josh Osborn and Ben Carr of Sycamore and Joe Chester of Tybee Island, Ga., friends of the groom.
Flower girls were Julia Wildman, cousin of the bride, and Addison Nutter, niece of the groom. Ring bearer was Nathan Hossler, nephew of the groom.
Christine is a 1998 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and is employed in the sales department at Lace and Elegance, Tiffin, and as an administrative assistant for Advanced Limo, Tiffin.
Ryan is a 1996 graduate of Mohawk High School and a 2001 graduate of Tiffin University. He is a project manager for Tiffin Scenic Studios.
Angela Kuzma hosted a bridal shower June 26, 2011, and Linda Brookes hosted one Aug. 7. The rehearsal dinner took place at Tiffin AMVETS.
Following a honeymoon trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides at 269 Wentz St.
