Erin Powers and Johnathan Schiller exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. May 28, 2011, at Holiday Inn Express in Rosemont, Ill. The Rev. Mari Russo was officiant during the double-ring service. A reception followed at Holiday Inn Express.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Pat Powers of Tiffin.

The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Charlotte Schiller of Mount Prospect, Ill.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white Oleg Cassini strapless satin ball gown featuring beading and embroidery on the bodice and pickups. The gown was accented by a cathedral-length train decorated with hand beading. Her head piece was a decorative clip attached to a sheer shoulder-length veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of ivy white roses and colored accent flowers.

Nikki Zimmer of Fairborn was her best friend's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Anderson of Chicago, friend of the bride, and Jennifer Schiller of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Elizabeth Schiller of Dillon, Colo., sisters of the groom.

They wore knee-length, A-line satin halter dresses. The oasis-colored dresses were accented with black cummerbund sashes. They carried bouquets of flowers with multiple spring colors.

Flower girls were Elaina Schiller, niece of the bridegroom, and Haley Harris, daughter of the maid of honor. Junior bridesmaid was Abbey Schiller, niece of the bridegroom; junior groomsmen was Zach Mouroukas, cousin of the bridegroom.

Matthew Schiller of Hainesville, Ill., served as his brother's best man. Brian Schiller of Woodstock, Ill., cousin of the bridegroom, and Adam Powers of Chicago and Andrew Powers of Newport News, Va., brothers of the bride, were groomsmen.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Columbian High School, a 2006 graduate of Wright State University and a 2010 graduate of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is employed by the House of Blues, Chicago, and DePaul University.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Prospect High School in Mount Prospect, Ill. He is employed by Rosebud Restaurant and is drummer for A Friend Called Fire.

The bride was honored with two bridal showers, one hosted by her mother in Tiffin and the other hosted by her mother-in-law and sisters-in-law in Illinois.

A rehearsal dinner was at Ram Brewery, Rosemont, Ill. Following a honeymoon to Mackinac Island, the couple resides in Chicago.
