WILMINGTON - The third annual Ohio Grain Farmers Symposium is set for Dec. 15 at the Roberts Centre and Holiday Inn in Wilmington.
Grain farmers can hear about the latest agricultural issues impacting their operations.
New this year, participants can get up to six continuing education credits.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. and an early bird marketing report will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Topics discussed during the general session are to include a Washington outlook, overview of water quality issues and consumer perceptions of farming. Attendees also can attend breakout sessions on topics such as shale gas issues in Ohio, planning for 2012 markets and preparing for water quality regulations.
The annual OGFS trade show is to have companies that serve the industry on site.
