FOSTORIA - The Shepherd Center is to meet Friday at the Good Shepherd Home (lower level), 725 Columbus Ave., Fostoria.
Members and guests are invited to arrive for coffee, registration and fellowship starting at 9 a.m. A nurse from Good Shepherd Home is to be available 9:45-10 a.m. to do blood pressure screening.
At 10 a.m., Mary Fry of Melody Road is to play and sing Christmas carols and lead a sing-along to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. At 11 a.m. is a Christmas message delivered by David Jeremiah, a "Turning Point" presentation based on Biblical passages.
Good Shepherd Home is to provide a buffet lunch for those who make reservations before noon Thursday. Call Mary Lou at (419) 435-1482.
Following lunch, participants can choose a travelogue or a current events discussion on topics to be determined by the group.
Annual dues of $3 per person are due for new members older than 55.
