Lindsey Hafley and Michael Work exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 1, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. The double-ring service was officiated by the Rev. Michael Roemmele. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Park ballroom.
The bride is the daughter of Chris and Judy Hafley of Tiffin.
The groom is the son of Jeff and Joyce Work of Tiffin.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin gown with elaborate embroidery on organza. Satin bands edged the sweetheart strapless neckline and empire waistline on the A-line gown with an all-over, sparkling embroidery design and chapel-length train. Her headpiece was a tiara and a waist-length two-tiered veil. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.
Lauren Hafley of Tiffin was her sister's maid of honor. Anna Brooks of Charlottesville, Va., friend of the couple, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda McCarthy of Spring Hill, Fla., sister of the bride; Mollie Martin, friend of the couple, and Jessica Schock, cousin of the bride, both of Tiffin; and Heather Hamilton of Attica, Abby Wiser of Dayton and Olivia Wiser of Chicago, friends of the couple.
Flower girls were Karris Marinis and Scarlett Faber. They wore burgundy chiffon, floor-length one-shoulder dresses.
Matthew Work of Tiffin, brother of the groom, and Jordan Webb of Oklahoma, friend of the couple, were best men. Groomsmen were Luke Hafley, brother of the bride, Jeremy Weininger, friend of the couple, and Ian Schock, cousin of the bride, all of Tiffin; and Judd Lutz of Avon, Max Lammlein of Columbus and Dylan Ball of Canal Fulton, friends of the couple.
The bride, a 2005 graduate of Calvert High School, graduated in 2010 from Tiffin University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is an auditor with Amtrust Financial, Independence.
The groom, a 2006 graduate of Columbian High School, graduated from Kent State University in 2010 with a bachelor of science degree and in 2011 with a master's degree in architecture. He is a project designer with Richard Fleischman + Partners Architects, Cleveland.
A shower was thrown by the bride's mother, her maid of honor and her matron of honor.
A rehearsal dinner was at Pioneer Mill, Tiffin.
The couple honeymooned in Captiva Island, Fla., and now reside in Strongsville.
