Ottawa-Sandusky-Seneca Joint Solid Waste District has gathered information on how to dispose of live Christmas trees.
Trees must be free of decorations and tinsel. For further information, contact community officials or a waste hauler.
Drop-off locations in Tiffin include the Public Works building, 601 Miami St., through January, and the Water Pollution Control Center, 961 N. Water St.
At WPCC, trees should be placed along the fence by the brush pile on the north side of the facility. For more information, call (419) 488-5440.
In other parts of Seneca County, trees may be dropped off along the driveway of Ray & Janis Weasner, 19 S. Prospect St., Bloomville. For more information, call (419) 448-5430.
In Liberty Township, trees may be taken to 4730 CR 11 7 a.m.-5 p.m. through Jan. 31. For more information, call (419) 986-5251.
