Soprano Carol Dusdieker, who joined the Heidelberg University faculty full time this year, is to perform a recital, "Portraits of Love," at 7 p.m. Saturday in Ohl Concert Hall on campus.

Accompanying her will be Thaddeus Archer on trumpet and I-Chen Yeh on piano.

Dusdieker said the recital is to take the audience on a journey through the joys and trials of courtship with pieces by composers Alessandro Scarlatti, Luigi Arditi, Edvard Grieg, Hugo Wolf and Amy Beach.
