Krista Marie Scherley and David Michael Sturdevant were married at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 5, 2011, at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, Toledo. The Rev. Dennis Walsh was officiant.
Krista is the daughter of Urban and Patrica Scherley of Bellevue.
David is the son of Michael Sturdevant of West Harrison, Ind., and Deborah Sturdevant of Cincinnati.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a strapless, satin gown with lace and a chapel-length train. Delicate beaded lace appliques adorned the bodice and skirt. She carried a bouquet of red roses and sunflowers wrapped in white satin ribbon.
Her attendants wore red, one-shouldered, chiffon dresses with floral detail. The bodices featured asymmetrical necklines and all-over ruching. They carried bouquets of sunflowers with red hypericum berries wrapped with red satin ribbon.
Megan Perlmutter, friend of the couple, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Wolf, Jennifer Smith, Jill Burkholder and Lisa Stoker. The flower girl was Davynn Smith.
Best man was Matt Sturdevant, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Tim Duebber, Dennis Cook, Greg Vissing and John Scherley.
Krista graduated in 2002 from Seneca East High School and in 2007 from The University of Toledo with bachelor's degrees in English and adolescent education. She is an academic affairs specialist at UT. She expects to graduate in May 2012 with a master's degree in counselor education.
David graduated in 2000 from Oak Hills High School and in 2004 from The University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in information systems. He is a software developer for Benefit Concepts, Toledo.
A reception was at Angola Gardens, Holland.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and now reside in Haskins.
