The Spirituality Center on the St. Francis Community campus is offering a Forgiveness Day of Reflection 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 10. It will be a time for reflection on the important role of forgiving and being forgiven.
Sister Roberta Doneth is to lead the program. Born in Traverse City, Mich., she entered the Sisters of St. Francis/Tiffin in 1969 after graduating from college. She taught junior high and high school and then was an elementary school administrator for 16 years. The Tiffin Franciscans called her to leadership and she was a member of the congregation's leadership team for eight years, during which time she was the peace and justice coordinator for the congregation and then the facilitator of initial and ongoing formation.
Sister Roberta holds a bachelor's degree in education from Madonna University in Livonia, Mich., a master's degree in administration from the University of Dayton, and earned a master's in Franciscan studies from the Franciscan Institute at St. Bonaventure University in 2005.
She ministers as a retreat leader and a spiritual director, and is administrator of St. Francis Spirituality Center, a Franciscan speaker and staff member of the Franciscan Pilgrimages Program.
