for show at National
The Ritz Players have scheduled open auditions for "Leading Ladies" at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday in The National Theatre at The Ritz, 30 S. Washington St.
The show is to be performed May 11, 12, 19 and 20 in The National.
There are roles for three adult women (ages 20-70) and five adult men (ages 20-70).

'Cake' served again at Fremont theater
FREMONT - Fremont Community Theatre presents three more performances of "Red Velvet Cake War" at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

'Mockingbird' back
BUCYRUS - Bucyrus Little Theatre is to present three more performances of the drama, "To Kill A Mockingbird," at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Croquet club to
host annual meeting
FREMONT - The Hayes Presidential Center Croquet Club is looking for new members. Anyone interested in finding out about croquet is invited to attend the club's annual meeting 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the center in Fremont.
Admission is free. Guests can chat with club members and try their hand at croquet, weather permitting, on the grounds at the corner of Hayes and Buckland avenues in Fremont.

Symphony to play
FREMONT - Terra State Community College's annual "Music on Sunday" series presents the Chamber Ensembles of the Firelands Symphony at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Groups performing include The Firelands String Quartet and The Phoenix Project, a wind quartet.
The concert is free at the Recital Hall in Building D on the Terra campus.
Tickets remain for Straight No Chaser
NORWALK - Towne & Country Players has about 150 tickets left for Straight No Chaser at 3 p.m. March 25 in Norwalk High School Performing Arts Center.
The vocal ensemble began in 1996 when a group of Indiana University male students broke off from The Singing Hoosiers and formed the a capella Straight No Chaser.
Also performing will be the four Firelands Idols winners: Stacey Butchko, Vermilion, in "Stuck Like Glue," Haley Olds, Monroeville, in "Mr. Know It All"; Norwalk's Myriah Cross in "Rolling in the Deep" and Rex Kilgore, Plymouth, in "Arise."
