Recognition has been well earned

March 17, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

When the St. Francis Community received special recognition from Seneca Industrial and Economic Development Corp. Thursday night, the religious organization rightly was lauded as representing "everything that makes Tiffin a great place."

Increasingly, the people and programs on the St. Francis campus focus on making the world a better place. From large-scale efforts such as Little Portion Green, which includes an energy-efficient straw bale house, to smaller efforts, such as a workshop this morning to focus on how individuals can improve the environment, the St. Francis community aims to make the planet a better place to live. It's no wonder today's seminar is called "Saving Creation."

We encourage our readers to avail themselves of the programs at St. Francis and to endeavor to help make our larger community a greater place.
