Jack and Sue Kies of Fort Wayne, Ind., and formerly of Republic, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 24, 2012, with a dinner for family and friends.
Jack and the former Sue Heckerd were married Feb. 24, 1962, at Republic United Church of Christ.
They are parents of a son, Michael (Lori) Kies of Cincinnati, and a daughter, Michelle (Craig) Ward of Fort Wayne. Four grandchildren complete their family.
