The Fostoria Community Band is to present a spring concert at 2:30 p.m. April 1 at Fostoria Intermediate Elementary School. Under the direction of Jarrod Koskoski, the band is made of about 40 members ranging in age from high school students to senior citizens. The members come from Fostoria and the surrounding area. New members are always welcome.
The band's repertoire includes marches, movie tunes, songs from Broadway musicals, hymns, folk tunes and old-time favorites. Refreshments will be served during intermission. Donations will be accepted following the concert to support the band.
