Tiffin reports

A first-block Erie Street man reported Saturday afternoon a man he knew tried to get in his house.

A person from Pit Stop, 321 E. Perry St., reported Saturday afternoon a person failed to pay.

A 100-block Jackson Street man reported Saturday evening he found damage to his vehicle.

Johnathon L. Steele, 18, of Tiffin, was charged with drugs-possession/abuse and drugs-paraphernalia Saturday evening.

A person reported Saturday evening a physical domestic dispute in the first block of Walker Street.

A person from Mercy Tiffin Hospital, 45 St. Lawrence Drive, reported early Sunday morning a person brought in by ambulance was spitting at and fighting with nurses.

A first-block Elmer Street resident reported Sunday morning several vehicles on Elmer and East Perry streets had shave cream or a similar substance on them.

A person reported Sunday morning a vehicle in the 200 block of South Sandusky Street was entered.

A person reported Sunday morning a vehicle in the 100 block of Clay Street was entered.

A woman in the first block of Franklin Street reported Sunday morning a man crawled out of a window, urinated and crawled back in.

County reports

A 2000-block West TR 120 resident requested to speak with an officer Saturday morning about a person looking in windows.

A 6000-block West CR 6 resident reported Saturday evening someone went back a lane and was dumping trash.

A 5000-block South SR 53 resident reported Sunday morning the theft of an air compressor and attachments and a socket set.

Fostoria reports

A person in the 300 block of West Tiffin Street wanted to speak to an officer Saturday evening about animal cruelty.

A woman in the 100 block of North Main Street reported Saturday evening her vehicle was stolen.

A 700-block West North Street woman went to the station Saturday evening and reported her son's iPod was stolen. The person she accused stated it was lost.

A person from the emergency room at Fostoria Community Hospital, 501 Van Buren St., requested an officer Saturday night for an intoxicated patient who was trying to leave.

A 100-block Summit Street resident reported Sunday morning keys were taken and a front window was damaged.

A 300-block East Center Street resident reported Sunday morning a 50-inch television was taken overnight, and the resident was home at the time of the break-in. The resident later reported more items were taken. A burglary investigation was started.

An employee of Certified, 100 E. Lytle St., reported Sunday afternoon a gasoline drive-off.

A person went to the station Sunday afternoon to report drug activity.

Tiffin accident

An accident was reported at South Sandusky and West Market streets Saturday night.

County accidents

Taylor Paulus, 20, of Tiffin, was cited with failure to control after an accident on West CR 11 early Tuesday morning.

A citation of improper right turn was issued after a semi went into the ditch at South SR 67 and East TR 106 Sunday afternoon.

Fostoria accidents

Taylor M. Tucker, 16, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign after an accident at Summit and North Union streets March 14.

Allison G.N. Roberts, 17, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to yield right-of-way after an accident at West High and North Union streets March 15. She was taken by Fostoria EMS to Fostoria Community Hospital.

Ayako N. Hampton, 17, of Fostoria, was cited with improper lane change after an accident in the 100 block of East Lytle Street Wednesday evening.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to a smoke detector activation due to malfunction at 187 Jackson St., No. 311, Saturday evening.

Bertha Rumschlag, 411 Ash St., pleaded no contest to instigating riot at educational institution, nine days jail, nine days credit, one-year community control, counseling FAC, $366; pleaded no contest to personal disorderly conduct, $144.

Latashia M. Shank, 1204 Peeler Dr., Apt. D, pleaded no contest to personal disorderly conduct, $165.

Aaron D. Piggue, 1207 Beier Dr., Apt. C, pleaded no contest to theft, five days jail, one day credit, one-year community control, no contact with victims, $204; pleaded no contest to theft, five days jail, one day credit, $154.

Daywayne A. Chancey, Fostoria, pleaded no contest to speed, $123.

Jake W. Botimer, 617 W. Fremont St., pleaded no contest to disregard for safety, five days jail, $432; operating vehicle impaired/refusal case dismissed, $18.

Gregory Rosales, 525 McDougal St., pleaded no contest to driving under suspension, $305.

Andrew N. Gregg, 614 W. Fremont St., pleaded no contest to failure to reinstate license, $500 of fine suspended if defendant shows court proof of valid operator's license by 8-15-12, $1,139.
