April 6 is the deadline for ordering tree seedlings through the Seneca Soil and Water Conservation District annual tree packet program.
The program is designed to meet a specific need of individuals for a small number of seedlings for erosion control, windbreaks, reforestation, wildlife benefits and for a safer and more beautiful environment.
Payment must accompany each order. Although SWCD orders hardy stock, survival rates are not guaranteed.
Tree seedlings are to be distributed noon-6 p.m. April 19 and 7 a.m.-noon April 20.
Order forms are available at www.senecaswcd.com.
