Tiffin reports

A first-block Braden Court caller reported Friday evening trouble with his neighbor.

A woman from Fostoria Community Hospital called Tiffin police Friday evening to report the hospital was treating a patient from Tiffin who had injuries resulting from a relationship with the father of her two children. According to the report, the subject refused to give details.

A 100-block Hall Street caller reported Friday night that a female cut her finger while trying to cut the phone line. According to the report, the person called back and requested an ambulance.

A first-block Virginia Avenue caller reported Friday night receiving threatening calls and texts from her father.

A 100-block South Washington Street caller reported early Saturday morning a subject left without paying a tab.

Cameron Green, 27, of Salt Lake City, was charged early Saturday morning with operating a vehicle while under the influence and making an improper left turn.

Shae Carter, 20, of Tiffin, was charged early Saturday morning with failure to yield, no operator's license, and driving under suspension.

A man was at the station Saturday morning to report he found a knife under a dog house.

A woman reported Saturday morning a visitor from out-of-town left her dog in the car since the previous night.

Fostoria reports

A employee from McDonalds, 626 N. Countyline, requested an officer Friday evening after the theft of cash from a drawer. According to the police report, there was a suspect after restaurant tapes were reviewed.

A caller in the 300 block of Perry Street reported Friday evening a possible impaired driver. According to the report, the driver was found to have caused an accident in Wood County, and the State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.

A 200-block Brickner Street caller reported early Saturday morning people were attempting to cause a fight.

A caller in the 200 block of Brickner Street reported early Saturday morning his vehicle was just stolen and the woman who stole it was driving around in it.

A caller from the Fostoria Motel, 345 W. Lytle, reported Saturday morning someone got into his vehicle and stole prescription medication, including oxycodone.

A caller in the 200 block of Potter Street reported Saturday afternoon a male subject was walking two pit bulls when one dog tried to attack a neighborhood dog. According to the report, when the subject was confronted, he made threats of physical harm using his dogs.

County reports

A person was at the station Friday afternoon to report her purse had been stolen the previous night.

A woman was at the station Friday afternoon to report someone had used her social security number.

A caller reported Friday evening that siding on a building in the 6000 block of West Tiffin Street had been melted by a pipe coming out of the building that had a burning piece of paper inside. According to the report, no damage was found.

Tiffin accidents

A three-vehicle, non-injury accident occurred Friday evening at SR 224 and SR 18. A citation was issued for assured clear distance ahead.

A caller reported Friday evening a truck struck the Arby's sign in the back of the restaurant and was stuck on it.

Fostoria accident

A two-vehicle accident was reported Friday evening in the 1400 block of North Countyline Road.

A caller in the 7000 block of West SR 18 reported Friday morning a driver backed into a door on his barn.

A caller reported Friday morning rear-ending someone on SR 18. A citation was issued for assured clear distance ahead.

County fire

Bascom firefighters responded to a grass fire Friday afternoon on West SR 18.

AVR firefighters responded to an accident Friday evening on North SR 4.

Green Springs firefighters responded to a fire alarm Friday night on North Broadway.

Republic firefighters responded to an accident Saturday morning at SR 19 and CR 38.
