The next speaker for Tiffin University's Good Morning World breakfast lecture series is to talk about business ethics.

Peter Holbrook, dean of the college of business and management at Cardinal Stritch University, is to present "In the Blink of an Eye: Why Leaders Make Foolish Ethical Choices & What Can We Learn From Them" during a lecture April 19.

Michael Grandillo, TU's vice president for development and public affairs, said Holbrook is going to talk about ethics in business and how to grow a business by being an ethical steward.

"(I'm) just looking forward to hearing his wisdom," he said.

According to a release from TU, Holbrook has expertise in board development, organizational leadership and change, program development and evaluation, service, strategic thinking and planning, succession planning and teams. He researches, writes and speaks about leadership and has expertise in the area of Franciscan, servant and transformational leadership, it states.

Grandillo said Holbrook never has spoken at TU, and TU's school of business dean recommended him. TU received a grant from National Automobile Dealers Association to present a program about business ethics. Holbrook is going to be presenting Good Morning World and working on campus with students to fulfill the agreement, he said.

"This (lecture by Holbrook) is the last scheduled one of the year," he said.
