NEW RIEGEL - Sandra Acree motored around the bases with the help of an infield hit and a big throwing error Saturday in the bottom of the seventh as New Riegel nipped Fostoria 2-1.

The big one, though, came in the seventh.
Acree slapped a one-out single in the bottom of the frame and kept on running after the catcher's throw sailed past the first baseman and right fielder.
Taylor Kirian (9-2) struck out seven and scattered an unearned run, two hits, four walks and a hit batter to get the complete-game win for the Blue Jackets (9-2).
Taylor Arbogast went 2 for 3 with a double. Brittany Gillig scored.
Reliever Casey Babb suffered the loss for the Redmen (3-8). Neither of New Riegel's runs were earned. Babb singled and scored and Alexus Smith singled.
