About the company
TrideaDANCE, the first resident dance company of The Ritz Theatre, was created in 2006 by Tiffin dance artist Kathy Miller and Cleveland dance artists Marissa Glorioso and Erin Roberts.
The group seeks to promote dance education and awareness in northwest Ohio. Members launched their residency with a May 2007 performance and since have taught at The Ritz Theatre Summer Camp, Tiffin City elementary and middle schools and at the 2009 Artitude Festival.
"Waltz of the Coffee Clutch" is a light-hearted look at four ladies' idiosyncratic interactions as they pass the time waiting and wandering. Choreographed by Lynn Deering, this quartet is performed to Tin Hat Trio's "Waltz of the Skyscraper."
Other pieces in the concert are a blend examining topics such as personal gesture and unrequited love.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. For tickets and information, visit www.ritztheatre.org, stop at the box office, 30 S. Washington St., or call (419) 448-8544.
