The Advertiser-Tribune

The Heidelberg University Concert Choir is to present its annual home concert at 3 p.m. April 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. The mixed choral ensemble of the university's school of music is comprised of 31 singers from a broad cross-section of majors at Heidelberg.

Under the direction of Greg Ramsdell, the choir is to perform an eclectic program of choral literature representing major choral genres, historical eras and cultural traditions. The theme is "To Everything There is a Season."

Piano accompanist is Cynthia Ramsdell.

Ramsdell, the director of choral activities at Heidelberg, is in his first year as the choir's director. In addition to his conducting responsibilities, he teaches undergraduate courses in conducting and secondary choral methods.

He also teaches graduate courses in curriculum development, research in music education and music theory.

The concert is free. An offering is to be taken.
