Tiffin reports

Tenesha R. Hartley, 28, of Bellevue, was charged with expired plates, fictitious plates and driving under suspension Friday morning.

A juvenile was charged with drugs-possession/abuse Saturday after an incident April 8.

A first-block Gibson Street resident reported Saturday afternoon the theft of items from the residence.

A first-block Augusta Lane resident reported Saturday evening giving a woman money for an item from an online site and never receiving the item.

A woman in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue requested an officer Saturday night to report child abuse.

Mark A. Kinn, 46, of Tiffin, was charged with rapid acceleration/squeal and operating a vehicle while intoxicated early Sunday morning.

A first-block Elwood Street resident reported Sunday morning a vehicle was broken into.

A person reported Sunday morning a residence in the first block of Harvest Lane was broken into. Cash was missing from a purse. A person cut a screen in the kitchen and climbed through a window. A detective was notified.

A 100-block Longfellow Drive man reported Sunday morning a GPS and phone charger were stolen out of his car.

Adam P. Risner, 21, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Sunday evening.

County reports

A 1000-block South SR 53 resident requested a deputy Saturday morning for theft from a vehicle.

An 800-block North TR 15 man reported a scam Saturday afternoon.

A woman reported Saturday night a fight at AMVETS, 1901 S. SR 100.

A 2000-block West US 224 woman requested a deputy Sunday afternoon for the theft of prescription medication from her residence.

Fostoria reports

A 1000-block North Countyline Street man reported Saturday evening a man grabbed his arm. No signs of physical violence were observed, according to a report.

A 200-block East South Street woman reported Saturday evening her children were physically fighting.

An employee of Jack's Carryout, 201 E. Tiffin St., reported Saturday night graffiti was on the building. Other businesses, including Gray's Printing, 401 E. North St., and Flashbacks, 201 E. North St., also were painted.

Tonya A. Ferguson, 39, of Fostoria, was charged with resisting arrest and contributing to the unruliness/delinquency of a child Saturday night.

A fight between children occurred at Ohio and Miller avenues Sunday afternoon.

A 200-block College Avenue man reported Sunday afternoon a breaking and entering. It was under investigation.

A woman went to the station Sunday evening to report her purse was missing from China Buffet, 1659 N. Countyline St.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to smoke in the area of South Wood and Hays streets Saturday night. They found open burning at 851 S. Wood St., advised the resident of open burning laws and extinguished the fire.

Firefighters were called to a carbon monoxide investigation at 226 1/2 S. Union St. Sunday morning. No problem was found.

Firefighters were called to a garage fire at 572 N. Poplar St. Sunday afternoon. They extinguished it.

County accident

Kathy J. Kath, 47, of Bellevue, was cited with failure to control after an accident on South SR 4 Saturday afternoon.

Fostoria accident

A boy on a bicycle was struck in the 800 block of North Countyline Street Saturday evening. His father took him to a hospital.

State Patrol accidents

A rollover accident was reported on West SR 12 early Sunday morning.

A two-vehicle accident was reported at North SR 4 and SR 162 early Sunday morning.

Salvatore M. Miccichi, 16, of Tiffin, was cited with failure to yield the right of way after an accident at East US 224 and South SR 19 Sunday afternoon. The other driver, Robert J. Strohn II, 29, of New Washington, took himself to a hospital.

County fire

Bettsville and Kansas firefighters were called to an accident at West SR 18 and TR 103 early Sunday morning.

Republic firefighters were called to an accident at US 224 and SR 19 Sunday.
