Gospel singing today in Tiffin

TGMA Gospel Music Promotions is to present gospel singing and dinner 4-7:30 p.m. today at Shoey's Cool Creations Restaurant, Tiffin.

BELLEVUE - The Sorrowful Mother Shrine, SR 269, Bellevue, is planning farmers markets on the first Sunday of the month, June through September.

Spirituality Center offers programs

St. Francis Spirituality Center has scheduled four programs during May.

"The Three Churches of Francis and Clare" Day of Reflection, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. today, Elizabeth Schaefer Auditorium. Sister Margaret Carney is the presenter. The $25 cost includes lunch.

"Caring for the Caregivers," a day for nurses and nursing assistants, family and friends, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 10, spirituality center.

Martie Aiello is coordinating the event and Tom Bridinger is to conduct a writing exercise. The $25 fee includes lunch.

"A Heart of Nonviolence: Making Room for Peace at Home and in the World," 9 a.m.-4 p.m. May 12, spirituality center, sponsored by Project Peace. Explore dimensions of violence in everyday life, learn skills for peaceful relationships, experience the spiritual elements of nonviolence.

Facilitators are Josie Stezler and Sister Paulette Schroeder. The $25 fee includes lunch and materials.

"Beauty is the Pathway into God's Life," a weeklong retreat, 5 p.m. May 13 through 11:30 a.m. May 19, spirituality center.

Directed by the Rev. John Quigley, the retreat costs $450.

"God's Justice and Our Human Rights," 6:30 p.m. May 15, Elizabeth Schaefer Auditorium. The Rev. John Quigley is the speaker. Admission is $5.

Free concert set for May 18

Vocal Authority, a musical group from Bethel University in McKenzie, Tenn., is to perform a free concert beginning at 7 p.m. May 18 at First Presbyterian Church of Tiffin.

Christian concert May 18 in Willard

WILLARD - The Willard Hope Center is hosting a contemporary Christian concert featuring The Well and Toni Harris, with an open mic night as well. The concert is to begin at 7 p.m. May 18.

Buy a geranium, celebrate life

New Riegel Right to Life is to have its annual geranium sale 9 a.m.-noon today at 38 N. Perry St., New Riegel. Red, white, salmon, fuchsia and pink colors are available.

Tiffin Right to Life has planned its annual geranium sale for 7:30-11:30 a.m. May 12 in the St. Mary parking lot, 85 S. Sandusky St., Tiffin.

A variety of colors is to be available individually or by the flat.
