Advanced Auto Parts, which is under construction at 2205 W. Market St., is to be open by mid-August, according to Shelly Whitaker, a store representative.
"It will be 6,000 square feet and will employ a dozen people," she said.
The store is to be next to Napa Auto Parts, 2233 W. Market St
"We have 3,600 stores open nationally in 39 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands," Whitaker said. "We have over 200 locations in Ohio."
The Advanced Auto Parts is the second retailer to announce this May it is coming to Tiffin. Rural King is to move in across the street at the former Walmart building in September.
