Tiffin reports

Zachary T. Ritchie, 20, of Tiffin, was charged with domestic violence for an incident Feb. 15.

James A. Phillips, 44, of Tiffin, was charged with criminal damaging and theft for an incident April 9.

Birjilio G. Vazquez, 25, of Tiffin, was cited with having no operator's license and having fictitious plates Wednesday morning.

A 300-block Miami Street person reported early Thursday morning they were assaulted by a woman.

A first-block North Monroe Street man reported early Thursday morning a man tried to get into his apartment. The man took off running.

A first-block West Market Street man reported Thursday morning someone broke into his truck and motorcycle Wednesday night.

A vehicle in the 300 block of West Perry Street was reported broken into Thursday morning.

A theft of tires from a trailer was reported Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of Melmore Street.

A person went to the station Thursday afternoon to report fraudulent checks.

County reports

An 8000-block West SR 18 man reported Wednesday evening he found his slide broken when he returned home.

A 12000-block West Axline Street man reported Wednesday night another man threatened to assault or shoot him.

A break-in was reported Thursday afternoon in the first block of West CR 16.

Fostoria reports

A 400-block Sandusky Street caller reported Thursday morning a garage was broken into overnight.

A 400-block Stadium Drive woman reported Thursday morning her garage was broken into overnight.

A caller from Sunoco, 526 Sandusky St., reported an employee theft Thursday afternoon.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to 108 Elm Ave. Wednesday afternoon for an unintentional alarm transmission.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to the area of Sandusky and High streets for the report of a possible accident and fire. Nothing was found.

County fire

Green Springs firefighters were called to North TR 196 Wednesday night for a field fire.
