Shannon Leigh Garpiel of Tiffin and Nicholas Allen Bowman of Mount Blanchard have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Shannon is the daughter of Melissa (Rick) Jameson of Tiffin and Scott Garpiel of Pine Hill, N.J. She graduated from Columbian High School in 2002 and studied business at Montclair State University in New Jersey.
Nick is the son of Don Bowman of Mount Blanchard and Karen (Bruce) Bowman-Alloway of Lima. He graduated from Riverdale High School in 2001 and studied at The University of Findlay before taking a position at Bridgestone APM, Upper Sandusky.

The couple has planned an outdoor ceremony for Oct. 6, 2012.
