BLOOMVILLE - Smokin' Country Concert is to start the process of refunding ticket money Aug. 6, according to a release.
An organizer announced last week the event was being postponed because of poor ticket sales.
The release states, "Although the ticket sales weren't where they needed to be, we still believe that country music fans are the best fans in the world. They are the most loyal and understanding fans of all. With that being said we are going to continue to work hard to bring you the best event we can."
Performers who had been scheduled to perform at the second annual event near Bloomville next month included Reba McEntire, Gary Allan, Montgomery Gentry, Ronnie Dunn and Eric Church.
