Tiffin reports

Patrick A. Sours, 32, of Tiffin, was charged with trespass for an incident April 10.

Tabetha M. Matthews, 28, of Tiffin, was charged with assault Monday.

A man went to the station Monday afternoon to report a hitch had been taken off of his truck.

A caller reported Monday evening a rock had been thrown through a window at Calvert High School, 152 Madison St.

A theft of a wallet was reported Monday evening in the 200 block of North Washington Street.

A gasoline drive-off was reported Monday evening at Pit Stop, 321 E. Perry St.

A caller from Russell Cellular, 709 W. Market St., reported Monday night the store had been entered sometime after 8 p.m. and all of the money was taken.

A 100-block South Washington Street woman reported early Tuesday morning a wreath had been stolen from her door.

A 100-block Frost Parkway caller reported early Tuesday morning a person was passed out in a yard. According to the report, Michael D. Ball, 40, of Lima, was charged with disorderly conduct.

A caller from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 1950 W. Market S., reported Tuesday morning a person who rented a car last week had not returned it.

Zachary O. Warnick, 19, of Bettsville, was charged with assault for an incident July 16.

Michael R. Ruch, 43, of Tiffin, was charged with open container Sunday.

Sean Z. Shown, 22, of Tiffin, was charged with obstruction Tuesday.

Marlene M. Stanley, 51, of Tiffin, was charged with obstruction Tuesday.

A theft of a computer was reported Monday afternoon in the first block of West Ellen Street.

A woman reported Tuesday morning $70 was stolen from her purse in the 1000 block of North TR 21.

Fostoria reports

A caller from Kemosabes, 820 Sandusky St., reported Monday night an air conditioner had been stolen.

A 500-block Columbus Avenue woman reported Monday night a man was passed out on her back porch.

A break-in was reported Monday morning in the 300 block of South Wood Street.

A woman went to the station Tuesday afternoon to report someone was using her lost credit card.

State Patrol

John Merryfield Jr., 31, of Tiffin, was cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control following a one-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on North TR 71 near CR 30. He was transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to 163 N. Washington St. Monday evening for a porch fire. Chief William Ennis said a discarded cigarette had ignited the fire, which was confined to the porch. A portion of the porch was cut out, and minor damage was reported.

Firefighters were called to 55 Madison St. Monday night for a mattress fire. Chief William Ennis said the fire started from a child playing with a lighter, and damage was contained to the mattress and other personal belongings.

Firefighters were called to 55 Madison St. early Tuesday morning for an odor of smoke.
