A son, James Kirk Distel, was born Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, to Christy Lee and Phillip Andrew Distel of Tiffin. James weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Tambie and Scott Wyant and Chris Smith, all of Kansas. Paternal grandparents are Cindy and Dean Distel of Tiffin.
