Samantha Ann Fabian and Alec James Fields, both of Hubert, N.C., have announced their engagement.
Samantha, the daughter of Jan and Susan Fabian of Republic, is a 2008 graduate of Columbian High School.
Alec is a medic in the U.S. Navy. The son of Tonya Fields of Tiffin and William Fields of Ottawa Hills, he graduated from Columbian High School in 2006.
