Richard and Linda Mader celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Family attended a celebration Saturday, July 28, 2012, in Columbus.
They were married Aug. 12, 1972, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. John Shanahan.
Richard is the son of the late Page and Patricia Mader. He owns The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Tiffin.

Linda is the daughter of Marjorie DeMonte of Tiffin and the late Alvin DeMonte. She retired from Tiffin City Schools and continues to work at The Medicine Shoppe.
They have two children, Sarah (Jeff) Kersanty of Westerville and Mark (Wendi) Mader of Shawnee, Kan., and three grandchildren.
