A caller reported Friday afternoon a driver backed into an electric pole. According to the report, no damage was done to the pole, and the driver left the scene.

Julie Harrison, 49, of Tiffin, was cited with failure to yield after an accident on East Lytle Street Aug. 14.
Janet Hickle, 53, of Findlay, was cited with failure to yield after an accident on East Lytle Street Aug. 14.
Patricia Reinhard, 35, of Bascom, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident Aug. 15 on Columbus Avenue. Another driver, Tamara Turner, 31, of Fostoria, was cited with a child restraint violation.
Pedro Gutierrez, 39, of Fostoria, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident Aug. 15 on Sandusky Street.
Oran Correll, 83, of Risingsun, was cited with operating without reasonable control after an accident Aug. 16 on Sandusky Street.
Mary Hale, 69, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to yield after an accident Aug. 17 on North Union Street.
A four-car accident was reported Friday afternoon at Thomas and North Countyline streets.

State Patrol
Joseph E. Shell, 24, of Attica, was cited with operating without reasonable control after an accident Friday evening at TR 58 and SR 4. A spokesperson for the State Highway Patrol said Shell was driving a 1979 Ford F700 tanker truck, which she said rolled over during the accident. A passenger, Amanda E. Skinner, 20, of Attica, was transported by Bloomville EMS to Bucyrus Community Hospital.
Fostoria fire
Firefighters responded to 1150 State St. Friday night for a commercial fire alarm. According to the report, the fire was out upon arrival.
Nothing was found Saturday morning after police responded to an automatic fire alarm at 1000 Independence Rd.
