One of the recent TV election campaign ads states it is "a scary time to be a woman." How true! President Barack Obama just recently renewed his "war on women." His administration has taken a direct hit on life - the unborn - and especially on women, by opposing a ban on sex selection abortions. That's right - Obama supports aborting babies just because they are girls!
Obama has cut off funds for women's health in states that deny tax dollars to Planned Parenthood and has even threatened to shut down the federal government over funding for the nation's largest abortion provider. According to an article from the Wall Street Journal, Planned Parenthood sells abortion to 9 out of 10 pregnant women who come to them for help. Planned Parenthood performs more than 300,000 abortions a year. (If only half of these aborted babies were girls, then 150,000 women were killed in their abortion clinics.) Planned Parenthood received $363 million in federal and state grants in 2012 alone, which amounts to $1 million per day taken from taxpayers' pockets and put it into the pockets of the abortion industry. Every life is priceless, whether female or male - none deserves to end up in the garbage can of Planned Parenthood!
For those women who believe Obama protects women, think again! Abortion is dangerous, first and foremost, to the unborn baby - it means death for her! For the mother, she may experience many medical problems, perhaps even death, and many more women suffer from guilt and depression.
We should all feel a duty and responsibility to protect our fellow human beings - born and unborn. So, ladies, please remember this when voting in the November elections - we have an awesome responsibility!
