Tractor show Saturday
FOSTORIA - Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria is to host its
annual tractor show 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
Other activities on the grounds include music by DJ Jim Duggan, a garage sale, produce by Conine's and a lunch stand featuring chicken, fish and chips, homemade donuts, apple dumplings and ice cream.
Auction in final week
The United Way's "Super Hero" Online Auction is to end Thursday.
Sales are to generate funds for the Tiffin-Seneca United Way annual fundraising campaign. Auction items include gift certificates, services, electronics, gift baskets, crafts by local artists, food and collectibles, all donated by businesses, groups and individuals in the community.

Picnic benefit includes
variety of family activities
To honor the memory of Mark Derr and Jackie Panuto, the All-American Picnic in the Park is to take place 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Hedges-Boyer Park.
Family activities include an old-fashioned style show, cake walk, dunk tank, three-legged race, sack race, watermelon-eating contest, bike judging contest and a pie and cake contest.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. All proceeds from the event go to the Derr and Panuto Memorial Award Fund to provide a scholarship to a local high school senior.
Concession stands are to be open or participants can bring their own food.

Mothers of Preschoolers branches to teenagers
Mothers Of Preschoolers begins 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Sept. 13 at Tiffin YMCA. Breakfast and child care are to be provided.
This year's theme is "Plunge:?Love as if your life depended on it."
New this year is Teen MOPS, for mothers 20 years of age and younger who are pregnant or who have preschool-aged children.
The first meeting is 10-11:30 a.m. Sept. 8 and subsequent meetings will be every second and fourth Saturday of the month. Childcare and brunch is provided.

Open house scheduled
Tiffin T-Squares are to have an open house 7-9 p.m. Sept. 23 and 30 at Tiffin Developmental Center gym, 600 N. River Road.

Railroad museum
to provide special events
BELLEVUE - The Mad River & NKP Railroad Museum has planned its annual car and truck show 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 253 Southwest St., Bellevue.
All years, makes and models of cars and trucks are welcome. Car show entrants get free entry into the train museum.
Registration is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at a cost of $10 per vehicle. Awards are to be given at 1:30 p.m. and include best of show, Top 10 cars, Top 10 trucks, one staff pick and 140 dash plaques. Door prizes are to be given and a 50/50 drawing is to take place.
A cruise from Bellevue to Republic's car show leaves at 2 p.m. The poker run purse is $250: first place, $125; 2nd, $75; third, $50. Must be registered and attend both shows to be eligible.
Other activities include continental breakfast and lunch with food by Miller's Drive-In and Everything and Anything Flea Market. Car swap vendors are welcome.

Senior expo scheduled
MANSFIELD - The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging is to host a Positive Aging Expo 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 25 at Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield.
The expo is to focus on resources available to seniors and caregivers, including travel, volunteer opportunities, wellness and more.
There is no charge to attend; however, a canned food item is requested. A limited number of free lunches will be provided.
