RAWSON - The Calvert Senecas were stung by Cory-Rawson to the tune of a 7-0 Hornets' victory Thursday night.
Austin Brown scored two goals while Zach Smith, Jason Sands, Mason Waltz, Brent Warren and Kyle Rosman all found the back of the net.
After the game the Calvert coaching staff praised the play of defenseman Zach Dutro and goalie Michael Bennett, who recorded 20 saves.
Calvert falls to 0-2.
Stockaders KO Clyde with 1-2 punch
CLYDE - Cole Davidson scored four times in the second half and Mark Salas added three goals in second half Thursday as Old Fort hammered Clyde 7-3 for its first win.
Salas added three assists in the first half for the Stockaders (1-3), with Brad Heilman adding another.
Ryan Balliett had an assist in the second half and also stopped four shots in goal. Tito Lopez also registered four saves for Old Fort, which held a 22-10 advantage in shots.
Clyde (1-3) got goals from Seth Magers and Genaro Ochoa after falling behind, 7-0.
Danner, Runion lead Mohawk
ASHLAND - Kim Danner and Sarah Runion each scored a goal and tallied an assist Thursday as Mohawk nipped Ashland Crestview, 3-2.
Danner snapped a scoreless tie in the first half, and had the assist on Runion's game-tying goal in the 79th minute in the second half. Runion assisted Cambria Kohlenberg's go-ahead score later in the game.
Liz Runion stopped nine shots for the Warriors (2-2).
Emrick powers US to win
UPPER SANDUSKY - Upper Sandusky's Taylor Emrick found the back of the net three times and assisted on two more goals as the Rams improved to 4-1 with an 8-5 over Riverdale.
Brandon Miller scored twice while Austin Pirc and Cody Shuster also added goals. Shin Nagahama picked up a pair of assists.
Clay Musgrave had two saves in goal for the Rams.
US girls fall on the road
VAN BUREN - Jamie Calvin posted Upper Sandusky's girls to a 1-0 lead, but Van Buren tied things up two minutes before halftime. Two more Black Knight goals in the second half did in Upper Sandusky, as Van Buren posted a 3-1 win.
Keely Stover made 17 saves in goal for the Rams.
