ATTICA - Seneca East managed to win one game Wednesday night, but Gibsonburg won the rest as it defeated the Tigers, 25-20, 25-19, 24-26, 25-18.
Kristen Bowerman led the Tigers with 14 kills and a pair of blocks, while Cameil Ruffing had five kills and three blocks.
Ashton Daniel added five kills and five aces for Seneca East (2-5), while Sam Miller had 19 assists and two aces and Rachel Bauman had seven assists, five aces, two kills and two blocks.
Rams upend Presidents
MARION - Upper Sandusky swept Wednesday's singles matches in Marion, and defeated Harding, 4-1.
Taylor Clark defeated the Presidents' Fallyn Stevens, 7-6, 6-2, while the Rams' Kilee Saylor topped Nettie Bordersm 6-1, 6-2.
Upper Sandusky's Jenny Ohler knocked off Paxton Lindsey, 6-1, 6-1.
In doubles play, Logan Pierson and Taylor Dilley beat Harding's Emilee Lester and Sara Davis, 6-1, 6-2.
Harding's Alyssa Moodley and Ashleigh Lindsey snatched a doubles win over Megan Paci and Nadia English.
