Tiffin reports

William J. Carver, 31, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Sept. 4.

A caller from Tiffin Mall, 870 W. Market St., reported shoplifters Sunday afternoon. The Seneca County Sheriff's Office was advised to look for their vehicle. According to the report, Carey Police Department was contacted to check a residence.

An 800-block Miami Street caller reported Sunday afternoon a vehicle had been vandalized overnight.

A caller in the 100 block of East Market Street requested to speak to an officer Sunday evening about someone who had been taking the brushes off of wands and scraping mud all over.

A theft of a bicycle was reported early Monday morning in the 100 block of North Washington Street.

A first-block Apple Street woman reported Monday afternoon a woman threatened her and was possibly on her way to assault her. She requested to speak to an officer.

County reports

Sara E. Morrow, 20, of Collins, was charged with possession of harmful intoxicants Sept. 4.

Elizabeth J. Faneuff, 50, of Clyde, was charged with illegal distribution of cigarettes Sept. 4.

William Upton Jr., 45, of Republic, was charged with open container Friday. He also was cited with violating traffic lanes.

Shane M. Benfer, 23, of Gibsonburg, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Saturday. He also was cited with a helmet violation, speeding and driving under suspension.

Dakota J. Martinez, 19, of Tiffin, was charged with underage possession/consumption Saturday. He also was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

A 7000-block North TR 63 caller reported Sunday night a window had been broken with a rock.

A 9000-block West TR 36 man reported Monday afternoon his sister's boyfriend punched him.

Fostoria reports

Daniel K. Pope, 31, of Fostoria, was charged with disorderly conduct for an incident Aug. 24.

Felicia Poland, 24, of Fostoria, was charged with disorderly conduct for an incident Aug. 24.

A 700-block Eastern Avenue man reported Sunday night items were missing from his house.

A caller reported early Monday morning three men were attempting to get into a residence in the 200 block of East Fremont Street.

A break-in was reported Monday morning at Liberty Tax, 150 Perry St.

Tiffin accident

A child was struck by a car Sunday afternoon in the 100 block of South Sandusky Street. Tiffin Police Chief Fred Stevens said a 6-year-old girl had gone into the street to chase a ball, and was struck. She didn't appear to be injured, but was taken to Mercy Tiffin Hospital to be evaluated.

State Patrol

Robert B. Catania, 52, of Florida, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated Saturday night. He also was cited with failure to reinstate and violating traffic lanes.

County accidents

Daniel L. Maag, 63, of Columbus Grove, was cited with failure to control following an accident Saturday afternoon in the first block of East CR 36.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to 24 Fostoria St. Sunday evening for an unauthorized burn.

Firefighters were called Sunday afternoon for a lift assist.

County fire
