Tiffin reports

A cell phone was reported stolen Thursday afternoon in the first block of Greenfield Street.

A person flagged down an officer Thursday afternoon in the area of West Perry Street and Frost Parkway to report a theft.

A person reported Thursday afternoon a boy was shooting things with a BB gun in the 300 block of South Sandusky Street.

A caller reported Thursday evening two boys were shooting pellet guns at birds in the first block of Frost Parkway.

A person reported Thursday evening finding a purse with drug paraphernalia inside of it in the 1800 block of West Market Street.

A caller reported damage to a slide at Little Hedges Park Thursday evening.

A caller in the 2400 block of West Market Street reported Thursday night a man was looking into windows.

County reports

A 6000-block South SR 67 man reported Thursday evening two gators had been stolen.

A break-in was reported Thursday night in the 100 block of Baker Street.

A break-in was reported Friday morning at Tiffin Farmer's Co-op, 585 S. CR 13.

Fostoria reports

A woman reported Thursday night her son had been beaten up and his ribs hurt. The boy refused medical treatment.

A caller from Circle K, 1245 N. Countyline St., reported early Friday morning a woman inside the store had visible injuries and a man with her threw hot dogs at an employee. The woman was transported to Fostoria Community Hospital and the man was charged with domestic violence.

A person went to the station Friday morning to report six golf carts had been stolen from Indianbrook Golf Club.

A 1200-block Peeler Drive woman reported Friday morning she had been assaulted. A person was arrested and charged with domestic violence.

An 1100-block North Union Street man reported Friday morning someone had stolen his wallet.

County accident

Wilbur J. Elchert, 74, of Fostoria, was transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon at a private drive in Hopewell Township. The other driver involved was not injured. No citations were listed on the accident report.

Tiffin fires

Firefighters were called to 160 Miami St. Thursday night for an unintentional smoke detector activation.

Firefighters were called to 156 Clay St. Friday morning for an unintentional smoke detector activation.

Fostoria fires

Firefighters were called out Thursday afternoon for the report of smoke in a building at 1099 Columbus Ave. A blower motor to a furnace had seized, causing smoke, a Fostoria Fire Department spokesman said.

Firefighters were called out Thursday evening to Eastern Avenue for an odor of smoke. Nothing was found.

Firefighters were called to the 200 block of North Poplar Street Thursday night for a gas odor. Nothing was found.
