Richard and Theresa Best are celebrating 40 years of marriage today.
They were married Sept. 16, 1972, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin.
Theresa is the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Elchert) Keefe. She is a homemaker.

Richard, the son of the late Elizabeth (Valenti) Best and Arthur Handley, retired from American Standard and now works at Whirlpool Corp.
They are parents of three children, Laura Best of Akron and Jeremy Best and Rhonda Best of Tiffin. Two grandsons complete their family.
