Emerick keys Rams

OLD FORT - Taylor Emerick got the go-ahead score with 9:44 left in the first half and Upper Sandusky pulled away in the second half Thursday in a 6-2 win over Old Fort.

The Rams (7-3) built a 2-0 lead off goals from Luke Miller and Emerick, but Cole Davidson converted a pair of Marc Salas passes into scores to knot the game by the 10:33 mark.

But Emerick found the net again 49 seconds later and the Stockaders (1-8-1) couldn't keep pace.

Shin Nagahama, Brad Roeder and Brandon Miller all added goals for the Rams in the second half.

Nagahama added two assists and Roeder and Luke Miller both had one.

Clay Musgrave and William Amert both had three saves for Upper Sandusky, which out-shot the Stockaders 40-16.

Old Fort's Tito Lopez registered eight saves.

Ada heads East in shutout

Cole East scored twice Thursday to key Ada's 6-0 win over Calvert.

Ben Neville added a goal and assist for the Bulldogs, and Cesar Olbera, Caleb Garmon and Ryan Hissong each scored once.

Seth Wright chipped in an assist and Tate Anspach stopped five shots for Ada.

Jacob Zimmerman registered 19 saves for the Senecas (0-7), who were out-shot 46-7.
