The haunting season is approaching, and the Lake Erie shores and islands have a number of spooky attractions in the works.
Sandusky State Theatre is to host nationally known paranormal investigators from popular television programs for lectures and ghost hunts at the theater, which legend says is haunted by at least four spirits.
Cedar Point's HalloWeekends are geared toward families and thrill seekers. For children, there is a themed parade, costume contest, Planet Spooky and a fun house. Adults have four haunted houses and six walk-throughs from which to choose. New this year are Eden Musee, a wax museum, and Cut Throat Cove, an outdoor pirate-themed show.
Visit Ghostly Manor, for the new Lake Eerie Fearfest. The mysterious legends of Lake Erie are brought together under one roof to create the area's newest haunted destination. Lake Eerie Fearfest is six acres of non-stop haunted action, including Darkmare, Caged, Quarantine and Eerie Chateau.
