2 candidates make the grade in her book

October 2, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

As a retired teacher (after 30 years), I invite you to consider voting for two recently retired teachers.

Bill Young (Clyde-Green Springs) is a candidate for state representative in the 88th District. He has been teacher of the year, winner of the John F. Kennedy Scholarship and will work for school funding that will relieve homeowners of an unfair tax burden.

Tanyce Addison (Elgin Local School District) also was voted teacher of the year and will push to reinvest in public schools and see that every child has a chance for affordable higher education or a job training program. She is a candidate for Senate District 26.

Both of their backgrounds prove their capability to assume responsibility and work to accomplish their goals.

Janet Booth, Tiffin
