Columbian swept the singles matches to put the wraps on a Northern Ohio League championship Tuesday, beating Norwalk 3-2 to go 10-0 in league play.
The win bumped the Tornadoes to 18-1 overall, while the Truckers fell to 14-3.
Alex Kramer beat Sara Stoll 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Kelly Bishop dropped Kelsey Talkington 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2, and Sara Guzowski upended Karlee Talkington 7-5, 6-0 at No. 3.
Norwalk's Aubrey Cook and Kaylah Pelham defeated Allie Elchert and Audrey Vrancken 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles. Truckers Hanna Herner and Lauren Ott downed Kelsey Drown and Ashley Niedermier 7-5, 7-6 (7-4).
Rams Rall up C-R
RAWSON - Sarah Rall headed one goal in and booted home another Tuesday the Upper Sandusky girls soccer team's 3-0 win over Cory-Rawson.
Rall headed in a crossing pass from Danielle Brodman with 2:41 left in the first half, and added her other goal with 25:20 left in the second half.
Brigitte Snow scored off a penalty kick nearly six minutes after Rall's second goal.
Keely Stover stopped all 15 shots she faced for the Rams (7-7-0).
Tanzillo-led Truckers win
NORWALK - Zach Tanzillo scored twice Tuesday to lift Norwalk to a 2-1 win over Columbian.
Tanzillo snapped a scoreless tie in the 22nd minute, then got the go-ahead goal in the 68th minute for the Truckers.
Columbian's Mike Brady converted an Alec Demith pass into the game-tying score in the 54th minute.
Josh Gibson stopped 11 shots for the Tornadoes (4-8). Wes Tanzillo had three saves for Norwalk.
