Tiffin reports

Kevin J. Fourtner, 18, of Bloomville, was charged with a protection order violation Thursday morning.

A 200-block East Market Street man reported Thursday afternoon he had been assaulted by his girlfriend.

A 100-block North Washington Street man reported Thursday evening he saw someone in his vehicle. The person ran into an alley.

A 100-block East Market Street caller reported Thursday night a window had been broken.

A 200-block Sixth Avenue woman reported Thursday night she found a man hiding in the neighbor's bushes. The man told her he was waiting for a ride. Police were unable to locate the man.

A theft was reported Thursday night in the first block of Penn Street.

A first-block Duchess Lane woman reported early Friday morning a man pushed her down a set of stairs. Police attempted to locate her, but she was no longer at the residence. They also checked a second residence, but no one would answer the door.

A man in the area of Circular and Rebecca streets reported early Friday morning he was being hit with a hammer. He then hung up the phone. A second caller reported seeing two people arguing but did not see anyone strike the other.

A caller reported Friday afternoon it appeared three people were trying to unhook an ATM in the first block of East Market Street. Police checked the area and were unable to locate anyone.

County report

An attempted break-in was reported Friday morning in the 4000 block of North CR 5.

Fostoria reports

Robert A. Coppus Jr., 26, of Fostoria, was charged with open container Sunday.

A man went to the station Thursday afternoon to report a donation jar for his father had been stolen from Clark Oil, 600 N. Countyline St.

A 400-block South Main Street woman reported Thursday evening a bicycle was stolen from her porch. She later called back and reported a fight involving three people outside of her residence. A man was given a warning for disorderly conduct.

A 100-block East High Street caller reported early Friday morning someone tried to break in through a door. The resident and a dog were home at the time, but the dog was missing following the attempted break-in.

A lawn mower was reported stolen early Friday morning in the 300 block of South Poplar Street.

A person reported Friday morning someone threw paint on the side of a 500-block North Countyline Street residence.

Tiffin accident

Courtney L. Price, 21, of Tiffin, was cited with having no operator's license following an accident Friday afternoon at Miami and Wall streets.

Tiffin fires

Firefighters were called to 154 S. Washington St. Thursday evening for an unintentional smoke detector activation.

Firefighters were called to 101 Ella St. Thursday evening for an outdoor rubbish fire.

Firefighters were called to 76 Augusta Lane for an authorized controlled burn.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to the Rock Street area Thursday night for an open burn.
