Paul Edward Fox, 94, of Fostoria, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Independence House, Fostoria.
He was born July 16, 1918, in Hancock County, to Ralph and Ollie (Fraver) Fox. He married Martha V. Reiss on Feb. 9, 1940, in Tiffin, and she survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Jane (John) Meisner, Tiffin; a son, Jim (Kathy) Fox, Findlay; a sister, Annabelle Stark, Fostoria; five grandchildren, Jody Graham, Findlay, Jeremy Meisner, Bascom, Rev. Jenna Brown, Alliance, twins- Janine Meisner, Tiffin, and Julie Meisner, Toledo; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Eugene and Lowell Fox; and a twin sister Pearl Reinhard.
Paul retired in 1983 as assistant manager at Roppe Rubber Company and worked prior to that at Wood County Packing. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during WWII. Paul attended St. John United Church of Christ in Fostoria where he was a faithful choir member. He also enjoyed golf, bowling, dartball, playing bingo, cards, go cart racing and fishing.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at St. John United Church of Christ, Fostoria, with the Reverends David Culp and Jenna Brown officiating.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria and one hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial wil be at Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia.
